Bulova "C-Shape" Ref. 737 (Cal. 11 BLC)

Presenting this Bulova housed in a classic C-shaped case, circa 1969, a design language popularised by select Omega Constellation references conceived by the legendary Gérald Genta.
The understated vertically brushed dial lends the watch a refined, minimalist character, complemented by clean baton hands that ensure excellent legibility. Powered by a manual winding, three-hand movement, it makes for a charming and versatile vintage daily wearer. An interesting period detail lies on the case back, stamped “Waterproof”, a marking from an era before the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) tightened restrictions on the use of the term in watch advertising.
