Its grey sunburst dial with a little shade of blue has been preserved in very good condition, while a subtle crosshair sub seconds register at 6 o’clock introduces a pleasing sense of technical symmetry to the layout. Completing the profile is an oversized crown, designed for effortless operation. Beneath the surface beats a manual winding, three-hand in-house High Frequency caliber, distinguished by its impressive frequency of 28,000 vibrations per hour (8 beats per second), a specification that reflected Longines’ pursuit of precision during the high-frequency era.
