Design of this De Ville definitely have some influence from the not so popular Cartier Tank Divan where other more famous counterpart has cast a shadow on it. The horizontal rectangular dial is uncommon to what people are used to. Due to the orientation of the case, it has a bigger lug width at 22mm making it wears slightly larger on the wrist. From the streamline side case to the straight lugs, the blue print of a Cartier Tank Divan is there. Elegant time only design accompanied by the simplistic stick hour marker on the dial covered with a flat mineral glass.
