Throwback to 1968, when Omega unveiled a radical and eccentric design that pushed the boundaries of traditional watch design, most notably with a case shape that resembles a flying saucer from nearly every angle. This particular model dates back to 1970, an early variation of the Genève Dynamic line. Gold capped case housed a reliable in house automatic caliber with a quickset date function activated by pulling the crown to its outermost position. I like to think this is how Omega in the '70s imagined wrist fashion in the year 2070 while sketching the Dynamic’s design. It’s a striking blend of vintage charm and futuristic flair, arguably one of the boldest designs ever produced by the brand.
