Presenting this stunning Universal Genève from the 1960s, housed in a beautifully proportioned “Tank” inspired case. The dial is as restrained as it gets, featuring nothing more than the Universal Genève name at 12 o’clock, simple stick hour markers and matching stick hands. Slightly smaller in proportion, it wears beautifully on a woman’s wrist, yet works equally well on a gentleman who appreciates refined design in a more compact watch. Personally, I’ve always gravitated toward smaller watches, and it’s refreshing to see them making a return to form, much like they did back in the 1940s.
